Sponsor a Program

The Westside Queer Resource Center brings people together to share stories, build friendships, and create a genuine sense of belonging for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community in Washington County and beyond. Each sponsored program - whether it’s a writers’ circle, an affinity group, or a game night - helps foster safety, connection, and joy for individuals of all ages. Your sponsorship directly supports a welcoming space where people can build community, find support, and be celebrated exactly as they are.

Donate the cans to on your schedule. Proceeds are sent directly to WQRC!

  1. Pick up a blue bag and a QR code sticker

    Visit the WQRC office at 233 Washington Ave in Hillsboro to pick up a blue bag and a QR code sticker.

  2. Fill your blue bag

    Fill up the blue bag with your empty cans and bottles. And stick the QR code sticker on the front of the blue bag.

  3. Let the staff know you want to donate your proceeds to WQRC

    Visit the BottleDrop® site to find a donation site near you and drop of your extra bottles or cans.

Host an Event

Partnering with the Westside Queer Resource Center to host an event is a meaningful way to bring people together and strengthen our local 2SLGBTQIA+ community. From hikes and book fairs to Pride celebrations and picnics, these gatherings create safe, joyful spaces where everyone can connect, celebrate, and belong. 

By hosting an event, you help expand our reach and foster lasting friendships, visibility, and support across Washington County and beyond.
